Boating of the past meets todays needs.

Today is the 10th day of spring and boater’s from across the glob are getting there boats ready for the season.

How does the past help with today’s needs when it comes to the boating world? Well in a time gone by the nautical world used sail and wind to move through the water enabling them to travel and explore, and today as the cost of fuel changes like the wind in a storm it is hard to keep up with the whims of the market and OPEC. and the U.S. government can only see what the their political winds show or in a better way to put it who gives the most money for a cause.

What we need to day so all boaters if your only into recreational boating or your a paid licensed mariner using the sea to make a living, in my humble opinion is the  government needs to step out of the way and let the private sector develop fuels that can be used for our daily life and not as a weapon to restrict commerce or free movement of the worlds population. Ok let me clarify that statement I do believe in states right to govern but only at the hands of the people who instill the power of government to persons elected to do so but the way our current form of government is working it is of the government by the government not what the founders of this country framed.

(We the people need) to use a  phrase from our framers need to take back our country and our government and put it back on the path of government of the people, by the people, so we all can live to the standards we set for our selves, not the one’s set for a select group then effecting the rest all done with an agenda. Looking at the modern day politician most of them could not make it in the private sector or have an agenda, so they find anyone that they can convince they will do there bidding and get elected to positions in the government to effect change of their choosing and not for better of the governed body.

How does this impact boating today?

PLEASE LEAVE YOUR THOUGHTS AND COMMENTS AND TAKE CHARGE OF THE COUNTRY WE LIVE IN.
